I know I haven't posted on here in a loooong time. I'm training for the marathon that will be held in October. If you want to run, run with me! Despite what people think, I am NOT a fast runner. Unless you consider 6-minute miles fast... jk! That would be great if I could run a mile in 6 minutes.
Training for the marathon has really helped discipline me. I've been waking up at 5:30 every morning to get a run in the morning. I also like having a goal to accomplish. It's awesome to see what your body will allow you to do. Every weekend the number of miles we have to run goes up and every weekend before I think that it's impossible to get my body to go that distance. But I end up doing it and the feeling of accomplishing that is really cool.
Contrary to what everyone has been telling me that I'll lose a lot of weight... that is not true. Probably because I've allowed myself to eat a lot more than usual. Darn you, Carbs! Why do you have to be so delicious?
Last weekend my friends had a sushi party at their place. They had a big spread of different kinds of raw fish, squid, shrimp, veggies, and other sushi-making items. It was very yummy. They also invited another Russian couple. My one friend is Russian and the other is Japanese. But those Russians like to tell stories. So while we were eating, they were telling stories and after we were done eating, they kept telling stories.

Then as the night progressed, we got a little silly... maybe from all the wine and beer.
